It's a rare occasion and something very special when a married couple can say they've known each other since they were kids. Marissa and Joe are one of these lucky couples. They were married on April 18th at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church, where they also went to grade school together years ago. Their strong love and friendship is easy to see as it shines through in all of their pictures throughout the day. Here are just a handful of their special moments.

Pheobe + Jacob | Engagement Photo Session
What an inspiring morning I had today! I assisted my dear friend Maggie Stolzberg in photographing Pheobe and Jacob's engagement photo session in the Central West End and Forest Park. Miss Maggie is a highly talented destination wedding photographer who is based in both Florida and St. Louis. We enjoy collaborating whenever possible as we share a similar vision and passion for what we do.
Pheobe and Jacob, as sweet as sweet can be and so in love, are getting married in Seattle, Washington this coming May. Here are just a few of my faves from the images I snapped from their session today. I cannot wait to see your beautiful wedding photos!!! Best of luck to you both.

Stephanie + Mike Wedding | Columbia, MO
I was SO happy when Stephanie asked me to photograph her and Mike's wedding. She and I grew up in the same small town in southern Missouri and have known each other since grade school. It was wonderful to be able to share this experience with them and their family and friends. Stephanie and Mike were married in Columbia, MO in the St. Thomas Moore Newman Center followed by their reception at Stephan's College Kimball Ballroom. In between the two, the bride and groom and their bridal party hopped on the trolley to take some pictures around campus. We finished the shoot at Faurot Field which we had all to ourselves! It was a riot and we got some very entertaining pictures to say the least.
I had such a tough time choosing my favorites for the blog so I made a special gallery which showcases ALL of my personal faves.
